I changed the ratings page. Now by default it ignores rating points earned earlier than year ago. I think it helps the new players to compete. With the older system they had no chances to take top positions.
BTW, personnaly I was pleasantly surprised with the results :)
Everything to get on the first position? :) How about making this period even smaller? Say the last half a year or even quarter? It would give the new players a better understanding of where there are.
